Position:

North Douglas School District will have a High School Business Education & Technology teaching position open for the 2025-26 school year.  North Douglas School District is a small rural community in Drain, OR.  Salary and benefits are per district Collective Bargaining Agreement with base salary rate starting at $47,468.  Benefits include Sick leave, Personal Leave, Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance as well as full PERS pickup. 

 

 Qualifications:

 

• Applicant must hold or qualify for an Oregon Teaching Certificate in General Education with an endorsement for Business Education at the secondary level
• Knowledgeable in Technology for Business Education
• Ability to develop lessons that prepare students for academic and social success
• Ability to work with a team of professional educators in a small/rural High School.

 

Responsibilities:   

• Teaching a wide range of classes in Business Ed, Accounting, Personal Finance, Keyboarding, Computer Programs, Careers and Culminating High School Project.
• Could serve as FBLA Advisor on an extra-duty contract
